Kate Rogers

Kate Rogers is a graduate of UNB’s Masters program in Political Science and has built her career since then through leadership roles in arts administration, community development and policy research. Currently, Kate is the Executive Director of the Fredericton Community Foundation. In the past, she served as Executive Director of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, Executive Director of the NB Crafts Council and Managing Director of the NB Social Policy Research Network.

Councillor Rogers was appointed Deputy Mayor for the City of Fredericton for a two-year term in May 2016. This is her second four-year term having first been elected in May 2012 and again in May 2016. In her first term on City Council, she served as Chair of the Community Services Committee, Chair of the Arts & Culture Committee, member of Development Committee, Finance Committee and Council Representative for Downtown Fredericton Inc.

Kate is a past President of York (currently Omista) Credit Union, a founding co-chair of the Fredericton Arts Alliance, an advisor to ArtsLink NB and a member of the NB Social Policy Research Network Advisory Board.

A life-long resident Fredericton, Councillor Rogers and her husband, Mike Wolfe, have lived in Ward 11 for over 15 years with their two daughters, Iris and Eliza.
