Jordan Graham was elected to Fredericton City Council on May 12, 2008 and is currently serving his first four-year term as a City Councillor.
Councillor Graham is a fourth-year student the University of New Brunswick studying political science and economics. Originally of Woodstock, Councillor Graham has been a resident of Fredericton since he began his studies.
Councillor Graham is Chair of the the Finance & Administration Committee and co-chair of the Mayor's Working Committee on Community/University Relations. He is Vice-Chair of the City's Public Safety & Environment Committee. Councillor Graham is also a member of the Planning Advisory Committee and an alternate to le Centre Communautaire Ste-Anne. He is also a member of the Old Public Burial Ground Committee and sits as Council's representative on the Riverfront Advisory Committee and a member of Downtown Fredericton Inc.
Formerly the Vice-President External of UNB Student Union, Councillor Graham has served people locally, provincially and nationally. As a student leader, Councillor Graham was a voting delegate of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations and a director of the New Brunswick Student Alliance.
Additionally, Councillor Graham is an executive with the New Brunswick Advisory Council on Youth and also currently serves on the Youth Advisory Group for the Canadian Commission on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
Locally, Councillor Graham has served on the Mayor's Working Group on University Community Relations and was the student representative from UNB on the development of the College Hill Action Plan.
