June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, 2011
Come celebrate the visual arts and fine craft this summer during the Downtown Fredericton Culture Crawl. On the first Thursday of each month (June - Sept.), downtown gallery doors are open from 5 - 8pm, making it easy to visit multiple galleries on the same night.
Various exhibitions open throughout the summer so each Culture Crawl will offer something new.
The events are free which means admission to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and York-Sunbury Museum are waived for the evening.
There is no set schedule and people are invited to start at any of the locations and continue on to the next stop as they choose.
Culture Crawl stops include:
Aitkens Pewter
The Barracks Fine Craft Shops
Beaverbrook Art Gallery
Bejewel Gallery
Botinicals Gift Shop
Charlotte Glencross Gallery, Images Studio/Gallery and Studio 202 Gallery
City Hall Gallery
Fredericton Arts Alliance Artists-in-Residence
Fredericton Region Museum
Gallery 78

The Gallery at NB College of Craft and Design
Ingrid Mueller Art + Concepts

Sue Lawrence Hair Spa and Gallery
Brochures, including a map and gallery listings, are available at the above locations as well as the Visitor Information Centre, open daily at City Hall.
Although the Culture Crawl evenings are a festive way to visit the galleries, people who are unable to attend one of the scheduled events can use the brochure as a guide for their own Culture Crawl.
