HMCS Fredericton Lends Support to Boston Mission

                                                                                                                                                                       Fredericton, NB - In March 2009, politicians and business representatives from Greater Fredericton participated in a trade mission to Boston culminating in a reception on board the HMCS Fredericton.

ACOA Minister Keith Ashfield, Fredericton Mayor Brad Woodside and Fredericton City Councillor  Stephen Chase were joined by business representatives from Accreon, Ambir Solutions, Buen Dia, Bulletproof Solutions, Northampton Brewing (Picaroons), Professional Quality Assurance, Skillsoft, and Red Hot Learning.

"The City of Fredericton is pleased to be part of the trade mission to Boston to promote Greater Fredericton businesses, including those from our innovative information technology sector," said Mayor Brad Woodside. "We are grateful for the support given to the mission by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Province of New Brunswick, and Enterprise Fredericton. We are also pleased that the HMCS Fredericton was part of the effort. The ship is a great ambassador for our city, province and country.
