Is your organization hosting or interested in hosting a community event? Have you ever wondered how so many community events take place in the City of Fredericton? Did you know that the City of Fredericton provides support and resources for a number of festivals, fundraisers, parades, food drives, charity events and many other numerous happenings held within the City?

If you prefer a paper copy of the forms, you can pick one up at City Hall, or at the Community Services office at 335 Queen Street (next to the Police Station).
Special Events
The City of Fredericton has an application form and guidelines in place to provide assistance to event organizers. An application form must be completed and submitted at least 60 days in advance to the Special Events Coordinator for approval.

Use of Historic Garrison District (Officers' Square and/or Barracks' Square)
Interested in using the Historic Garrison District for your organization/event? Historic Garrison District includes use of Officers' Square (corner of Queen and Regent Street) and/or Barracks' Square (corner of Queen/Carleton Streets). An application form must be completed and submitted to the Tourism Department for approval.

Banner Display
If your organization/event would like to advertise by hanging a banner across Queen Street, an application form must be completed in advance and submitted to the Special Events Coordinator for approval.
The size of the banner should be 25' W x 3' H. Banners can be hung for a period of two weeks only and the organizing group is responsible for having the sign put up and taken down.
