- June 4: the Salmon Run exhibition moves to various locations in Downtown Fredericton.
- June 11 - August 7: The New Brunswick Craft Council's exhibition Flow is open to the public at Government House.
- *June 21 - September 7: the Beaverbrook Art Gallery's exhibition, Nekt Wikuhpon Ehpit, Once There Lived a Woman…The Painting, Poetry and Politics of Shirley Bear, is open to the public.
- June 26 - August 15: the Provincial Emerging Artists exhibition is open to the public at Government House, kicking off the 2009 Visual Arts Festival.
- *June 27: the Chinese Cultural Association's Night of a Thousand Lanterns takes place in Officer's Square.
- June 29: Symposium on Arts and Culture takes place at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
July 2009
- *July 1: The first in Atlantic Sinfonia's concert series honouring Fredericton area composers takes place at Christ Church Cathedral, 7 pm.
- July 2: the Art Market is open in Officer's Square; children's art activities scheduled in Officer's Square.
- July 4: Public Plein Air (outdoor) Painting at Officer's Square, in conjunction with the Art Market and scheduled children's art activities.
- July 5: final day of the Art Market and scheduled children's art activities.
- July 20 - 24: First session of Children's Culture Camp (anglophone) at the Charlotte Street Art Centre.

- September 16: Public art unveiled in the sculpture garden at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
