Evening In Carleton Park Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 7 p.m.
Fredericton (May 31, 2010) – The public is invited to attend an Evening In Carleton Park with Councillor Eric Megarity, members of the Fredericton Tree Commission and Arboriculture staff from the City of Fredericton’s Park’s & Trees Division. There will be demonstrations of proper tree-pruning techniques, identification of structural issues and hazards and other tree maintenance issues. Fredericton Tree Commission members and Parks & Trees staff will also be available to discuss tree selection and planting, invasive insect pests, and any other issues regarding tree care.
Time & Place: Tuesday June 1 at 7 p.m. to 8:30p.m. in Carleton Park (near Ducks Unlimited). Rain Date June 2 at 7 p.m.
Look for the Aerial Lift truck and the flashing lights. Pruning tools used specifically for tree care will be on display.
