Fredericton is often referred to as a giant park because of its large number of green spaces. As a municipality, Fredericton is responsible for thousands of trees and acres of parks. We know homeowners are just as proud of their green spaces and want to keep them looking nice.
The City of Fredericton is pleased to follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles in it parks, etc. IPM is a program supported by industry experts across North America that uses a number of methods to control pests.
Working with government representatives and local experts, the following links have been chosen to help provide gardeners, lawn care service providers and green space professionals with information on healthy lawns, as well as pest management and prevention strategies.
