Firefighting is a dangerous, selfless, and critically important occupation. Unfortunately, no amount of training and preparation can avoid all tragedy. Loss of life does happen. The City of Fredericton is proud to recognize those firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Fredericton Fallen Firefighters Memorial is displayed on the south bank of the Saint John River beside the Small Craft Aquatic Centre. Visit it to pay your respects to those who helped keep us safe—and to honour those who continue working to keep us safe.
