Community Funding Grants

The focus of the Community Funding Grants is to encourage the growth and stability of non-profit organizations in the City whose purpose and activities align to achieve the outcomes of a more livable and economically viable community. To this end, the City may make available limited financial resources to organizations in the form of a grant.

The grant must be applied to a specific program or service, or used as capital funding for the construction of facilities or the purchase of equipment that will benefit the community at large. Grants for general administrative purposes or social services will not be considered.

Strategic Partner Capital Grants

Strategic Partner Capital Grants are intended to encourage the growth and stability of strong, sustainable non-profit organizations whose purpose and services fit within the City’s municipal mandate.  Funding will support significant physical infrastructure capital projects, which must align with the City’s Municipal Plan and help achieve the outcomes of the City’s eight program result areas. Grants for social services will not be considered.
