City Announces New Year’s Celebrations

The City of Fredericton will host two public events to celebrate the holidays.   Join us for a New Year’s Eve family celebration on December 31st, 2017 and a Family Levee and Free Skate on January 1st, 2018.   Details follow.

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration

The City of Fredericton is pleased to announce a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration at the Nashwaaksis Field House & Fredericton Indoor Pool from 5 – 9 pm. Send off 2017 with a fun filled Family Swim, Games Carnival and Glow Dance Party.  Admission $5.00 / person, maximum $20 / family.

New Year’s Family Levee and Free Skate

Mayor Mike O’Brien and members of Fredericton City Council will host a New Year’s Family Levee and free skate on January 1, 2018 at the Lady Beaverbrook Rink, 411 University Avenue, from 1:30 pm - 3 pm, a fun-filled, afternoon event designed to kick-off 2018.

Visitors are invited to connect with the mayor and members of Council in the celebration, or take a spin on the ice with family and friends. Enjoy light refreshments, while quantities last.
