Fredericton Transit & Parking Update: April 26, 2019

The following flood related update is being provided for transit and parking in Fredericton for the weekend:

Transit:

  • Free Transit will be available though end of service Saturday, April 27, 2019.  Stay tuned for updates regarding Monday fare info.
  • Southside:  All routes are back to normal routing.  
  • Northside:  Routes 14N/15S remain impacted by the closure of Riverside Drive.  Routing as follows:  14N goes normal routing to Greenwood, Ring Road, Greener Village and 15S Greener Village to Riverside to Sumac to Carman to Greenwood and back to normal routing. 
  • Park and Rides remain available for public use – parking is free at these locations.  
  • Monitor social media for further updates should flood conditions change.

Parking:

  • The York Lot, Officers’ Square Lot and Upper Queen lot will remain closed through the weekend due to continue potential for flooding.  Cleanup of these lots will occur as soon as possible.
  • The East End and Frederick Square are available for public use throughout the weekend; and, will be available to passholders only on Monday pending flood conditions with public access after 10am as capacity allows.
  • Hourly parking is available at the Kings Place Garage and Brunswick Garage
