Fredericton Tree-Lighting Ceremony At City Hall

The Mayor’s 31st annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, December 2 in front of City Hall.

“I invite all Frederictonians to join me, along with members of Fredericton City Council in celebrating the festive season during our tree-lighting ceremony,” said Mayor Mike O’Brien. “It’s a great way to kick off this very special time of year.”

Festivities will include complimentary apple cider, hot chocolate, carolling, a visit from Santa Claus, and candy canes for the youngsters.

The Fredericton tree-lighting ceremony is being held in conjunction with the provincial Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will be held at the New Brunswick Legislative Building at 7 p.m. the same evening.
