Family Levee and Free Skate

Fun in Store at City’s New Year’s Family Levee and Free Skate

The City of Fredericton invites everyone to a fun-filled, free, afternoon event designed to kick-off 2017.

Join Mayor Mike O’Brien and members of City Council at Willie O’Ree Place on January 1, 2017 from 1:30 pm – 3 pm for a New Year’s Day Family Levee and Free Skate.

Visitors are invited to connect with the mayor and members of Council in the Celebration of Sport Hall, off the arena lobby.  Take a spin on the ice or walking trail.  Enjoy light refreshments, while quantities last, and musical entertainment by local artists.

“Council and I are really excited to be hosting this event,” said Fredericton Mayor Mike O’Brien.  “It’s a fun, informal, family event, so come as you are and let’s celebrate the start of the New Year together!”

This event is in addition to Fredericton’s Canada 150 Kickoff New Year’s Eve Celebration on December 31, 2016.
