Grant•Harvey Centre, Fredericton Indoor Pool to Undergo Scheduled Maintenance

The City of Fredericton advises the public that selected services at the Grant Harvey Centre and the Fredericton Indoor Pool will be interrupted due to upcoming scheduled maintenance.

Grant·Harvey Centre

Maintenance updates at the Grant·Harvey Centre will be performed between April 2, 2017 and July 17, 2017. The work will involve piping changes with the arena mechanical room, control changes and additions for operations improvements that will allow for the ability to operate each ice surface independently.

As a result, there will be no ice at the Grant·Harvey Centre during this time.  Additional ice time has been added in other city arenas to accommodate any service disruption.  For a complete list of available ice surfaces visit the City’s website at www.fredericton.ca and search ice surface.

All other facility operations such as the walking track and community rooms will continue to remain open and operate as usual.  To book a community room online, visit the City’s website at www.fredericton.ca and search Grant·Harvey.

Fredericton Indoor Pool

The Fredericton Indoor Pool will be drained for maintenance between June 26, 2017 and July 31, 2017 to allow for retiling of the pool deck and basin.

The administrative offices and all registration functions will remain open and continue to operate as usual during this period.  Registration for programming can be done in person, or online by visiting the City’s website at www.fredericton.ca and searching Fredericton Indoor Pool.

The public is reminded to visit the city’s numerous outdoor aquatic facilities such as outdoor pools and wading pools, the Wilmot Park Splash Pad, and Killarney Lake Beach.  A complete list of outdoor aquatic facilities can be found on the City’s website at www.fredericton.ca by searching swimming.
