Notice of Construction: Carleton Street Construction

July 8, 2016 - The City of Fredericton Engineering and Operations Department wishes to advise motorists that beginning Saturday, July 9, 2016, construction will begin within the intersection of Carleton Street and King Street.

Carleton Street between Brunswick Street and Queen Street will be closed to all traffic including the intersection of Carleton Street and King Street on Saturday and Sunday.

Further to the closure effective Saturday, July 9, 2016. Fredericton Transit will be adjusting its service as follows:

Transit is not able to park at Kings Place on Saturday July 9, 2016. Transit will be parking and waiting for transfers on Queen St. between Carleton and York.

For the next five weeks Transit will detour Regent to Queen St. for northbound buses and the 15S and 13s.

The Carleton/King intersection will reopen for Monday morning traffic and Carleton Street between Brunswick Street and King Street is scheduled to reopen to all traffic on Wednesday July 13th.

Carleton Street between King Street and Queen Street is expected to remain closed for the next five weeks.
