Arson Investigation

On Tuesday April 26, 2017 the Fredericton Police Force (FPF) and the Fredericton Fire Department (FFD) responded to a structure fire at around 4 a.m. on the north side of the city.

Subsequently, the investigation of the fire has been deemed suspicious in nature and police are treating the fire as arson.

As a result of the fire, a family of six which included two adults and four children were displaced. The family members got out safely and did not sustain any injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information will be released at this time.
