Charges Laid on Three Male in March 21 Break & Entry, Robbery and Attempted Robbery

Three Fredericton males are charged with multiple offenses following a break & enter, a robbery and attempted robbery which occurred overnight on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Fredericton.

At 3:54 a.m. on Wednesday March 22, 2017, three males were involved in an attempted robbery involving a crowbar on a taxi driver downtown in the Southside of Fredericton. The taxi driver was not injured. A black vehicle was seen fleeing the scene. 

Shortly after at 4:55 a.m. the FPF got a call to respond to a break & entry at a Northside residence. Three males left in a dark car and were apprehended on the corner of Fieldstone St. and Cliff St. They were arrested in connection with the break & enter and the attempted robbery on the taxi driver.

20-year old Jackson Allen, 20-year old Daniel Woodworth and 19-year old Jacob Robert LeBlanc face charges of break & enter, robbery and attempted robbery. Leblanc also faces a charge of disguise with intent. They appeared in Fredericton court this morning and were remanded. All three men are set to reappear in court on Tuesday March 28 at 10:30 a.m. for a show cause hearing.


The investigation is ongoing. At this moment, no further details will be released in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.


The FPF is continuing to advise Fredericton residents to be aware of their surroundings, secure their property and contact police if they see any suspicious activities.
