Police Requesting Help in Solving a Vehicle/ Pedestrian Collision Investigation

On Friday March 31, 2017 at around 6:35-640 p.m. a pedestrian in a crosswalk was struck by a vehicle resulting in injury at the intersection of Macleod Avenue at Regent Street.

The driver failed to stop at the scene. The driver is described as a clean shaven, thin build 20-25 year old Caucasian male.

The vehicle involved in this collision is described as a grey/silver four door sedan possibly a Toyota Corolla with “GKM” as the first three characters of the New Brunswick license plate. A young child was seated in the rear of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle and spoke to the injured pedestrian, a female in her early twenties prior to leaving the scene.

Police are looking for any information the public in an effort to identify the driver involved.
