Suspect Identified in Bank Robbery

On Thursday, October 26, 2017 at approximately 3:45 pm, The Fredericton Police Force responded to a financial institution on Prospect St. regarding a report of a robbery.

The Primary Response Team, Neighborhood Action Team, Major Crime Team, the Forensic Identification Team and the K-9 Unit were called to the scene.

No injuries were sustained during this incident and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. 

The Fredericton Police Force has identified the suspect as 37 year-old, Jeffrey George Steph Gorsline.

A Warrant in the First Instance has been issued for Gorsline in regards to this robbery with a Canada wide radius. Gorsline is also wanted on warrant of apprehension for a parole violation out of Nova Scotia.

Gorsline is believed to be driving a brown 2013 Hyundai Elantra, Nova Scotia license plate GDE 437, possibly heading towards Quebec.

The investigation is its preliminary stages and is ongoing.
