Charges laid and search warrant executed in relation to Northside call for service

On Thursday, August 15, 44-year-old Jason Kennedy, 23-year-old Breanna Stella King, and 35-year-old Nicholas Parsons, all of Fredericton, appeared in court to face charges of Robbery and using an imitation firearm in the commission of an offense. Charges stem from an incident that occurred on Fredericton’s Northside around 9:30 a.m. on August 14, 2019, resulting in multiple police resources being deployed.

Last evening, Fredericton Police Force executed a search residence on Hawkins Street in relation to the call for service on August 14.

Items seized include a replica firearm (believed to be used in the robbery), a prohibited weapon (sawed-off shotgun), a long gun, and a variety of ammunition. Police also located a seized a quantity of drugs including methamphetamine, hydromorphone and oxycodone. Stolen property was also recovered during the search.

Firearms and weapons related offenses, including unsafe storage, as well as drug possession charges are being considered.   

All accused parties remain in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
