Day-long investigation leads to arrests and charges

It was a busy day for Fredericton Police Patrol officers on Monday, including a chain of events that concluded with three arrests and multiple charges

Just after 4:30 a.m. on November 4th, 2019, police responded to a Northside car dealership for an intrusion alarm.  Officers soon discovered that the business had been broken into, and two vehicles and various sets of keys had been stolen.

A short time later, officers responded to a single vehicle accident on the Vanier Highway, where a car ended up in the ditch. The lone occupant, an adult female was uninjured, but at 7:45 a.m., was arrested for possession of stolen property and obstruction. The vehicle she had been driving was stolen from the same Northside auto dealership from earlier in the morning, and sustained significant damage. 24-year old Mallory Alexandra Bostick of Fredericton has been remanded and will appear in court again at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Further charges are expected at that time.

Following an afternoon of excellent investigation and valuable information received from the public, patrol officers were able to locate the second stolen vehicle from the dealership, just outside Fredericton, around 6:30 p.m. Two adult males were also arrested and the investigation is continuing.
