Update on Wilmot Park Homicide Investigation

It has been a few days since we have been able to provide an update on the investigation into the homicide of Clark Greene just over one week ago. Even though we have had limited information to share, rest assured, police have been busy working on the file, and at this time, here is what we are able to tell you with respect to this active investigation.

Officers, along with K-9 Brutus, with support from the Department of Public Safety K-9 and York Sunbury Search Rescue have conducted tracks and searches in a number of locations. Investigators have been following up on a number of leads in an effort to advance the investigation, and have completed a number of neighbourhood canvasses, and continue to do so.

The autopsy on Mr. Green was completed late last week. We are still waiting on the final report, which will include toxicology results.

We understand the public’s need for answers, but as with any investigation, we need to balance the need to know, with the importance of the details to the file.

Investigators are still looking to speak with anyone who may have information about the investigation, or who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the Wilmot Park area between 10:00 p.m. on April 14, 2020 and 8:00 a.m. on April 15, 2020. Please contact the Fredericton Police Force at 460-2300 and reference file 20-7711. To remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.crimenb.ca.

We have already had a number of people reach out to us, and we are grateful for any information that you can share.
