Marijuana and Cash Seized During Drug Raid
An estimated three pounds of marijuana and an undisclosed quantity of Canadian currency was seized Tuesday evening (February 23rd), by members of the Fredericton Police Force’s Drug Crimes Section and Neighbourhood Action Team Division while executing a residential search warrant just on the outskirts of the City’s Northside.
A 47 year old male arrested during the 'raid' was later released pending a future court appearance when he will speak on drug related charges. The seized marijuana is estimated to have a street value of approx. $13,600.00.
