Fredericton Public Safety Training Centre
OFFERING STATE-OF-THE-ART TRAINING PROGRAMS IN A SAFE, REALISTIC ENVIRONMENT
The City of Fredericton operates one of the most advanced firefighting and public safety training facilities in Eastern Canada.
At the heart of the Centre of Excellence in Public Safety Training complex is a state-of- the-art training tower and surrounding training pads, which can accommodate nearly every conceivable fire and public safety training operation from residential and commercial structure fires, shipboard fires, confined space training, rappelling, and even Emergency Response Team operations.
The City of Fredericton is using the facility to train a new generation of its own firefighters and emergency response teams. We are now offering a Cadet Program in partnership with Prince Edward Island's Holland College and content specific courses, on a per-seat basis, to other fire department and public safety groups throughout the region.
