Six Finalists Selected in Fredericton Police Force Vehicle Design Contest
Fredericton, NB - The six finalists in the Fredericton Police Force's Design a Police Car Contest have been selected from among the 200 entries received and now the Force is asking for the public's assistance in selecting the top three.
"We have been extremely impressed with the number and quality of the entries we have received from not only the Fredericton area, especially from our schools, but also from across Canada," said Fredericton Police Chief Barry MacKnight. "We were able to narrow the list down to the final six and now we are inviting the public to come to our website and vote for their favourite."
The top three designs selected by the public will be forwarded to Chief MacKnight, who will announce the final design for the next generation of Fredericton Police Force vehicles this summer. It is possible that ideas from all three finalists could be incorporated into the final design.
