
General Information
Killarney lake Park is located on more than 500 ha. of land with 4.4km of multi use trails. The park contains an open recreational area, swimming beach, playground and Killarney Lake Rotary Centennial Lodge. The park is located on the Northside of the City approximately 5km from the St. Marys St. and Maple St. intersection
Parking
Parking is available at the main entrance of the Killarney Lake Rotary Centennial Lodge and the beach entrance
Accessibility
The trails are accessible by most users. There are some grade changes and not all trails are finished with crusher dust.
Things to see and do
The park is mostly woodland with a variety of forest types, wetlands, beaver dams, lake, streams, eskers and other features. It is an excellent location for Cross country Skiing in the winter as the trails are groomed.

Natural Environment
The park encompasses a variety of natural wooded and open areas. You may see the occasional deer, fox or small game. There are ducks and geese in the ponds as well as other bird species to be found in the park. There is a wide variety of plant life and the park is often used as an outdoor classroom for students of all ages.
