Valley

General Information

The Valley Trail heads in an up river direction. The trail begins near the entrance to Odell Park on Rookwood Ave. and proceeds to the city limits in Siverwood. It follow the Woodstock Road and Route  #102 and at times passes within site of the Saint John River.

Parking

Parking is available at the Delta Hotel, Odell Park, Angelview Park, and Islandview Campground.

Accessibility

The trail has a smooth and level crusher dust surface which makes it easily accessible to all users. The trail is quite wide with only one grade at Islandview Campground.

Things to see and do

The trail offers a scenic walk through residential and wooded areas with occasional views of the Saint John River. Plan to visit to Islandview Campground for ice cream or to play mini-golf or one of the other activities available on site. The trail is 10.2 km in length and is a minimum 2 hour walk or 40 minute bike ride each way.

Facilities (Bathrooms, Drinking fountains etc.)

There are occasional bathroom and drinking fountain facilities near the trail. Follow the signs

Natural Environment

The trail passes through a mostly wooded environment but never very far from houses and roadways. .
