Recreation Service Agreement

The City of Fredericton currently has Recreation Service Agreements in place with a number of Local Service Districts, a Village and a Rural Community (please see the map below for  identified partners) for the purpose of providing all residents of participating areas with access to and use of recreational services that is identical to that provided to the residents of the City of Fredericton, at the same cost and without payment of a non-resident user fee.

Areas located outside of these specified partner communities within the Recreation Service Agreement are required to pay a non-resident user fee per sport to be provided access to and use of recreational services.  As of April 1, 2017 the following fees apply:

Ice Sports                                            $726.50 (plus hst)

Field Sports                                          $17.00 (plus hst)

Outdoor Pool Swim Lessons                  $11.00 (plus hst)

Please note, non-resident user fees must be paid by non-partner community participants prior to registration for minor and adult sport groups or leagues. For outdoor pool swim lessons, non-resident user fees must be paid at the time of registration.
