Fredericton Transit Welcomes 2009 – 2010 S.T.U. & U.N.B Students
By replacing forty cars as a mode of transportation with one Transit bus you are reducing carbon emissions by nine tons in one year.
Thank you to our University students plus our steady customer growth who rely on the safe cost efficient transportation Fredericton Transit provides. Three years ago all twenty-eight Transit buses were equipped with easy three step loading bike racks. Customers can plan a bicycle/bus trip
with the many amazing kilometers of bicycle and walking trails in and around the City structure. You can make an interesting fun adventure with only three simple steps allowing you to load and remove your bicycle with ease. The web site also has a Goggle Trip Planner fully detailing your destination by bus. Our twelve Retail outlets for your transportation needs are listed on our bus schedules, 10-ride bus pass booklets and our Web site.
All full-time students at St. Thomas University have student cards that display the Transit FT logo or silver FT sticker combined with a gold colored validation sticker for the appropriate year. One thousand (1000) U.N.B Grad Students will have student cards that display Grad Student. Our transit operators recognize the student cards by these methods. All other full time students with photo id must purchase a $40.00 unlimited use student monthly pass. Monthly passes can be saved and claimed for tax purposes.
