Pay-by-Space Parking System

The City of Fredericton has completely implemented a new pay-by-space parking system in its parking facilities.  This includes the York Street Carpark, Frederick Square Parking Garage, Brunswick Street Parking Garage, and the Tannery parking lot on King Street.

 The system is easy to use and offers a variety of benefits to parking customers, including new payment methods and the reduction or elimination of line-ups entering and exiting the parking facility. 

How it Works

1. Park your vehicle
2. Note space number
3. Proceed to pay station immediately
4. Pay for desired time (cash, Visa, Amex) 
5. Keep receipt of payment
6. Note expiry time

No need to display receipt on vehicle.  Not sure how much time you'll need?  Add extra to be sure.  Tickets will be issued for expired time.

Additional time may be added from any pay station located at Frederick Square Parking Garage, The Tannery Parking Lot,  Brunswick Street Parking Garage, or York Street Carpark..

This is an automated system.  There are no cashiers at exits.

 How to Add Time

1. To extend your parking time, go to any Pay-by-Space pay station
2. Enter your parking space number, as shown on your receipt
3. Choose the "Add Time" option
4. Enter the unique "Add Time" six-digit number from your receipt
5. Select the additional amount of time needed and pay
6. Take your receipt and continue on your business
