Parking Facilities

The City of Fredericton operates a number of parking facilities.  This includes Frederick Square Garage, Brunswick Street Garage, York Street Carpark, East End Garage and the Upper Queen Street Lot.  Details as follows:

East End Parking Garage

• Location: 635 King Street next to the Fredericton Convention Centre 
• Queen & King Street entrance/exits between Regent & St. John Streets
• No. of Spaces: 529
• Short term parking rate: see information link below
• Monthly  contract rate for 0600 hrs - 1800 hrs  Mon - Fri = $95.00
• Monthly contract rate for 24/7 access = $105.00
• Pre-authorized payment only - bank or credit card

• Location: 535 Brunswick Street (behind Carleton Place)

York House Lot 

• Location: corner of York & George Streets
• No. of Spaces: 15
• Monthly Contract only:  $85.00 per month (pre-authorized payment only - bank or credit card)

York Street Carpark

• Location: York Street (behind City Hall)
• No. of Spaces: 258
• Short term parking rate: $1.00 per hour; $9.00 daily maximum
• Monthly contract rate: $95.00 per month (pre-authorized payment only - bank or credit card)

Frederick Square Garage

• Location: 235 King Street (west end) 
• Queen Street and King Street entrances between Westmorland and Northumberland Streets
• No. of Spaces: 513
• Number of Paystations:  3
• Short term parking rate: $1.00 per hour (or part thereof); $9.00 daily maximum
• Long term - Monthly contract rate: $64.00 per month (pre-authorized payment only - bank or credit card)
• Short term - Monthly permits - available at City Hall Payment Centre; sold up to three months at a time
• HST incl.

Upper Queen Street Lot

• Location: West end of Queen Street between former TRA Cash & Carry (271 Queen Street) and the Royal Canadian Legion (199 Queen Street)
• No. of Spaces: 228
• Monthly permits only - available at City Hall Payment Centre; sold up to three months at a time
• Permit rate: $43 per month - first come-first served basis  
• HST incl.
