The announcement was made today by Councillor Bruce Grandy, Chair of the City’s Transportation Committee.

“Council recognizes that not everyone in our community has access to transportation to fulfill basic needs,” said Coun. Grandy. “This program is designed to do just that and we are pleased we are able to offer it once again this year.”

The tickets were awarded to agencies based on the purpose of their services and the benefit to the community. Allocations were also based on need and ticket availability.
