Christmas Tree Drop-off Locations

The annual Christmas Tree Recycling program runs from Boxing Day until the third week of January. It’s one of the many ways that the City helps residents reduce, reuse and recycle.

Christmas trees dropped off at the various locations provided by the City are collected, chipped and recycled for compost. There are eight designated drop-off areas for Christmas Tree Recycling:

  1. Royal Road Park - Park parking lot adjacent to the Royal Road Fire Station
  2. Fulton Heights - School parking lot off main entrance to Nashwaaksis Middle School
  3. Devon – York Arena Parking Lot
  4. Marysville Heritage Centre Facility - Parking lot off McGloin Street
  5. Kimble Drive - Vacant lot opposite the Fredericton Community Garden at 150 Kimble
  6. Odell Park - Park parking lot in corner of the lot off Waggoners Lane
  7. Queens Square Park - Park parking lot adjacent to pool building off Aberdeen
  8. Angelview Park - Park parking lot off Woodstock Road

For safety reasons, please do NOT drop wreaths, artificial trees or any other materials that are not natural Christmas trees.
