Gender-neutral washrooms

The City has designated 20 single-stall washrooms throughout 7 of its municipal facilities as gender-neutral washrooms. They can be identified by a symbol of a toilet on the door with no specific gender association to its use.

The facilities are:

  • City Hall (including the one in the Visitor Information Centre)
  • 335 Queen Street (Information, Improvement & Innovation)
  • Fredericton Police Headquarters
  • 514/516 Queen Street (Recreation, Culture & Community Development)
  • Fredericton Public Library
  • Fire Station No. 2 at Two Nations Crossing
  • Mitch Clark Park washroom
