City announces new Deputy CAO; DeGrace to start in new role on June 14

The City of Fredericton is pleased to announce that Sara DeGrace will become the City’s new Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).  She will start her new position on Monday, June 14, 2021 and replaces former Deputy CAO Jeff Trail who retired at the end of March 2021.

She is joining the City after 13 years with the provincial government, leaving her most recent role as an Assistant Deputy Minister within the Department of Environment and Local Government. She has a broad base of experience in private, public and not-for-profit sectors and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

“I am pleased to welcome Sara to the City of Fredericton,” said Steven Hart, the City of Fredericton’s Chief Administrative Officer.  “Her experience and local knowledge make her a welcome addition to our team. I look forward to working with her.”
