City to hold Fredericton 175+ flag raising to mark anniversary

In honour of Fredericton’s 175 anniversary as a city, as well as the history that came before and the bright future that lies ahead, the public is invited to attend a Fredericton 175+ Flag Raising Ceremony at 11 am on March 30, 2023 at Fredericton City Hall.

Fredericton was incorporated as a city on March 30, 1848 by an Act of the Provincial Legislature.

Various dignitaries will be on hand. There will be anniversary cupcakes and hot chocolate. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside City Hall.
