City’s People Helping People initiative launches Art of Living Facebook Live series

The City of Fredericton is launching the Art of Living Facebook Live series, an initiative stemming from the People Helping People webpage connecting residents to the many local resources our community offers.

Art of Living Facebook Live series features free classes and activities hosted by local residents and businesses for all ages, activity levels, and interests. The first week’s schedule, May 25 to 29, features chair yoga, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis skills, Alzheimer Society of NB, baseball drills, money management, geo-caching, Toastmasters, Adult Literacy Fredericton, music and movement for young children, meditation, Reiki, cooking, and compassionate parenting.

Links to the Art of Living Facebook Live feed will be posted daily to the City of Fredericton's Recreation Facebook page: Fredericton - Recreation & Leisure.

About People Helping People

The People Helping People webpage was launched on May 6, 2020, as part of its Support Fredericton efforts during COVID-19. The webpage features four main areas of support: accessing food, helping out and volunteering, activities, and mental health. It complements the #SupportFredLocal initiative that helps local businesses, as well as the City's coronavirus resource page that lists information about City facilities and programs affected by coronavirus.
