Deadline to participate in 2023 Boost Ideation Camp extended

Still time for interested entrepreneurs, post-secondary education students & researchers and fearless innovators to apply

The City’s Boost Fredericton Civic Innovation Lab, together with its Fredericton Innovation Partnership stakeholders – the University of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Community College and Ignite, will present Boost 2023 Ideation Camp, March 16-20, 2023.

What is BOOST? Boost is a smart city innovation event that alternates bi-annually as Boost Ideation Camp and Boost Prototype Camp. This collaborative event offers a unique opportunity for teams to help devise innovative solutions to address Fredericton’s priority smart city challenges.  The 2023 Ideation Camp is focused on reducing transportation related community greenhouse gas emissions – using data and technology. “Participants will hack with an interdisciplinary team to fully explore the challenge, and develop a prototype idea using our digital infrastructure, data and technology”, said Laurie Guthrie, Civic Innovation-Smart City Strategist-Boost Fredericton.  “Participants will benefit from learning and knowledge acquisition through guidance from our expert coaches and esteemed mentors plus there will be prizes.”
