Fredericton Transit Service Changes Effective March 19, 2020

As a precautionary measure against COVID-19, the public is asked to use Transit for essential travel only. For the safety of our Operators and other passengers, please stay home if you don’t need to be out! 

These changes are being implemented in support of the recommendations of New Brunswick's Chief Medical Officer of Health and NB Premier Blaine Higgs.

Reduced service hours will be provided during peak travel times with a focus on essential travel only.

Until further notice Fredericton Transit’s schedule will be as follows: 

Service for all transit routes except routes 18/20 will be provided ONLY at the following times:

  • Starting at Kings Place 7:15am returning to Kings Place 8:00am;
  • Starting at Kings Place 8:15am returning to Kings Place at 9:00am.
  • Starting at Kings Place 3:15pm returning to Kings Place 4:00pm.
  • Starting at Kings Place 4:15pm returning to Kings Place 5:00pm.
  • Starting at Kings Place 5:15pm returning to Kings Place at 6:00pm.
  • Starting at Kings Place 8:15pm returning to Kings Place at 9:00pm.
  • Starting at Kings Place 9:15pm returning to Kings Place at 10:00pm.

Routes 18/20 servicing Silverwood and Lincoln will be serviced at the following times only:

  • Leaving Kings Place 7:32am returning to Kings Place 8:48am.
  • Leaving Kings Place 5:32pm returning to Kings Place 6:48pm.

Passengers are reminded to please maintain a separation of 2 metres (6 feet) from the Operator while the bus is in service as a precautionary measure.
