Arrest & Charges - Tyler Vrolyk

On Tuesday June 9, 2020 Fredericton Police Force Patrols arrested 28 –year old Tyler William Vrolyk in connection with several outstanding criminal investigations. Due to the nature and seriousness of the investigations, Fredericton Police Force Street Crimes became involved in the investigation.

Vrolyk appeared in court the same day, and was remanded for a show cause hearing yesterday, Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The following charges were approved by the Crown:

  • 4 counts of Break and Enter (S. 348 CCC)
  • 2 counts of Possession of Stolen Property (S. 355 CCC)
  • 2 counts of Fraud (S. 380 CCC)
  • 1 count of Theft (S. 334 CCC)
  • 1 count of Failing to stop for police (S. 320 CCC)
  • 1 count of Trespassing at night (S. 177 CC)

He was also charged with three counts of breach of probation and two counts of breach of a judge’s undertaking. 

Mr. Vrolyk waived his right to a show cause hearing on all 16 charges and was remanded until his next court appearance on July 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
