Barricaded person call results in charges

Fredericton - Aaron Glen Narvey appeared today in Provincial Court as a result of a barricaded persons call on Wednesday evening, March 8, 2023 in Fredericton.  A 911 call resulted in various teams of the Fredericton Police responding to the address on the northside, and the eventual arrest of Narvey without incident.   

Narvey is charged with the following:  

 

279(2)(a) CC – Forcible Confinement 

267(a) CC - Assault with a weapon 

264.1(1)(a) CC - Uttering Threats 

145(4)(a) CC - Fail to comply with an undertaking 

117.01(1)(3)(a) CC - Possession of a firearm contrary to order 

733.1(1)(a) CC – Breach of probation 

 

As a result of his court appearance before the judge, Narvey has been sent for a five-day psychiatric evaluation. 

Narvey’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 20th, 2023 at 9:30a.m.
