Charges to be laid following execution of warrant

On February 18th, 2021, at 3:45 p.m., the Fredericton Police Drugs and Organized Crime Unit executed a CDSA warrant in an apartment building on Biggs Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Assisting with the CDSA warrant were members of the Patrols, Emergency Response Team, K9 Unit, and Forensic Identification Section. As a result of the warrant, two male adults were arrested and are being held for court.

A 20-year old male faces the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a prohibited device
  • Breach of a Police Officer's Undertaking

A 23-year old male was arrested on a Canada Wide Warrant and will face a charge of being unlawfully at large.

Multiple weapons and quantities of suspected methamphetamine (crystal meth) and cocaine were seized.
