Dedication of FPF Honour Roll - August 10, 2020

Two years ago, Fredericton went through a very dark day. We tragically lost two of our officers and two of our civilians that day, and we continue to mourn their loss.

Today, we remember the sacrifice of Cst. Robb Costello and Cst. Sara Burns who lost their lives in the line of duty, rendering aid to two civilians. Sadly, Donnie Robichaud and Bobbie Lee Wright also died that day.

39 years ago, Fredericton Police lost another member in the line of duty – 35-year old Cst. Perley S. Calhoun – who was killed during a training exercise.

In memory of our three fallen officers, this morning we dedicated the Fredericton Police Force Honour Roll on the ground floor of our headquarters. This permanent memorial pays tribute to the ultimate sacrifice they paid during service with our department.

On behalf of Chief Roger Brown, the officers, and all employees of FPF, thank you for the continued support from our community. It is an honour to serve and protect the City of Fredericton.
