Fredericton Police investigate an early morning stabbing; one suspect arrested

On March 4, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., members of the Fredericton Police Force’s Primary Response Team, the Forensic Identification Unit and Major Crime team responded to a serious weapons complaint at a south side establishment.
A patron had been asked to leave the premises and subsequently stabbed two staff members and one other patron.
Police arrested an individual on scene without incident.
The three victims were taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for treatment. Two were held overnight while one of the victims required surgery.
This incident is still actively being investigated.
