Police requesting the public’s assistance as part of a hit and run investigation

On Friday Jan. 20, 2023 shortly before 10:30 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred in the area of 2375 Woodstock Rd. in Fredericton.

The hit and run vehicle struck another vehicle, leaving it and its occupants in a ditch. It failed to remain at the scene and fled the area. The victim’s vehicle sustained extensive damages.

Investigators have made significant progress into this case and have now seized a grey Chevrolet Malibu which they believe to be involved.

Police are asking that if you are the driver of the hit and run vehicle, to please make the right decision and come forward to the Fredericton Police Force.
