2024 - The Wilmot Splash Pad is now closed for the season.
The Wilmot Splash Pad is Fredericton’s only splash pad. It offers barrier-free access, seating, shaded areas, and an onsite washroom. Featuring loads of open space and brightly coloured spouts and sprinklers, the splash pad has multiple splash and spray components, as well as designated areas for shallow-watered play.
Wilmot Park Splash Pad Rules
- Please walk as splash pad may be slippery
- Roughhousing or unsafe play is prohibited
- Do not climb on any part of play structures
- Footwear is recommended
- No pets allowed with the exception of services animals
- No smoking or alcohol permitted
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear rubber pants or swim diaper
- All children 10 and under but be accompanied by an adult
- In case of emergency please call 911
- To report any damage or concerns please call 460-2230
- Glass, metal objects, soap and all other materials that would create hazardous conditions are not permitted
- In case of electrical storm please vacate the splash pad
- Please clean feet before entering play area
- Swim suits and or appropriate attire must be worn at all times
- Athletic equipment, balls, bats, beach balls, pool noodles, etc. are not permitted
