Community Alerts

We know that getting timely information related to day-to-day activities and emergencies is important to your daily routine. This is why the City of Fredericton has partnered with Voyent Alert! as the communication service provider for notifications and alerts to our community.

Residents are encouraged to sign-up to Voyent Alert! online to ensure they have the latest information related to daily programs and services, including any disruptions to those services, as well as details related to emergency situations.

Phase I of our Fredericton Alerts was launched on April 11, 2023. You will have the option to receive notifications for critical events, such as flooding, as well as day-to-day communications such as recycling information or municipal field closure updates. New alert options will be added periodically.

Registration for the service is FREE, simple and totally anonymous. You can choose how you would like to receive alerts, either through a mobile app, email or text message.
