Smart Cities Challenge
The City of Fredericton and St. Mary’s First Nation have submitted their final proposal for the Government of Canada’s Smart Cities Challenge, competing nationally for one of the two $10 million prizes to use data and technology to improve quality of life for residents. During the finalist phase, with the help of a $250,000 grant from Infrastructure Canada, we developed our final proposal and tested, prototyped and piloted several of the ideas and concepts within it.
