Request to Appear

The City Council and Standing Committees meet on a regular basis. If you wish to present at a meeting, please fill out the form below with your information and details about your presentation. The form, as well as any presentation materials must be received by the City Clerk before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a week prior to the scheduled meeting.

Once this information is received, the Office of the City Clerk will assist in determining the most appropriate meeting at which to give your presentation (i.e. City Council or a Standing Committee).

  • Regular City Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, both in-person in the Council Chamber and virtually via Zoom. These meetings commence at 7:30 pm.
  • Regular Standing Committee meetings are held on Thursdays at 12:00 noon, both in-person in the Council Chamber and virtually via Zoom.

If you are part of a group wishing to address Council on the same matter, the group is encouraged to appoint one or two spokespersons to address Council on behalf of the group. Delegations are given approximately 10-15 minutes to make their presentation.

Delegations will be contacted to confirm the scheduled date and time of their presentation.
